The 5R1-001 is a universal AC input proportional temperature controller for resistive heaters. The included user friendly software is PC programmable and requires no programming experience. This software makes it easy to change control configurations through the RS232 interface. The RS232 interface has 1500VAC isolation from the electronic circuitry virtually eliminating interference from noise or errant signals. Once the 5R1-001 proportional controller is set-up, the computer may be disconnected and the controller becomes a stand alone unit or the computer can remain connected for data acquisition. The temperature can also be set through the optional display for the 5R1-001 or remote potentiometer. The load circuit delivers a maximum load current of 15 Amps.
